Winter Village at Westlight
Winter Village at Westlight is a seasonal pop-up atop The William Vale. Sitting 23 stories above Williamsburg, the winter escape features cozy chalets surrounding Vale Rink, our skyline skating destination.
Perfect for the chilly winter season, the Winter Village offers New Yorkers a warm, socially-distanced space to enjoy sweeping, 360-degree views of the city. Guests can snuggle up in their private, decked out chalets and sip on seasonal cocktails while dining on alpine-style fondue and Westlight's menu of small and large bites. They'll enjoy the warm, winter spritz of Santal 26 home fragrance by Le Labo.
Each reservation for Westlight's private chalets has a booking fee starting at $45. Reservations are available on our reservations page one month in advance to the numbered day beginning at 9AM EST. Please make sure to select the "Chalet" option when using our reservations widget. Our chalets can accommodate groups of up to 10. If you are interested in a reservation for a party of 11 and up, please contact our events team at events@wvhospitality.com.
Winter Village FAQs
Is there an age requirement for the chalets?
There is no age restriction to book the chalets.
Is skating included in the chalet reservations?
Chalet reservations do not include access to Vale Rink. If you would like to skate during your visit, please visit the Vale Rink website to reserve a time.
Can we skate during our chalet reservation?
Yes, you are able to skate during your reservation, but please check in with your server to close out your check before doing so.
Are chalets heated?
They are! However, you will be outside for a bit on your way to the chalets, so we always recommend dressing warmly.
Are chalets dog-friendly?
Yes, as long as they are not on our furniture or eating out of our dishes.
What is the chalet cancellation policy?
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Those who cancel after will be charged a $50pp cancellation fee.
What's included with the booking fee?
The booking fee is to reserve the space and does not include food and beverages.
Is my chalet reservation weather dependent?
If there is torrential rain, snow or high winds, we will cancel and reschedule. Please feel free to email us at info@westlightnyc.com.
